The Delhi secretariat is a high-security zone and regulations to enter the campus are very stringent. Despite this, a bunch of protestors managed to enter the premises with banners. Rebel Aam Aadmi Party legislator Kapil Mishra and Bharatiya Janata Party lawmakers — Vijendra Gupta, Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Jagdish Pradhan and MP Parvesh Verma — were spotted sloganeering against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the lobby area. While lawmakers can enter the premises, it isn’t clear how other protestors managed to enter and protest in a high-security area like the secretariat.

These protestors can be heard sloganeering – “Ab to ye spasht hai, Kejriwal bhrasht hai (Now it’s evident that Kejriwal is corrupt.)”  Without realising that this act is set to expose those responsible for the security of the premises, Mishra and Sirsa posted the video on Twitter:

Another bunch of protestors were spotted waving a similar banner at the rooftop of the secretariat while claiming there is no one on strike at the secretariat.

The question is: how did these protestors manage to enter the premises, the lobby area and the roof? Either the police’s security checks were breached or they let the protestors enter the secretariat and carry out the protest.

Meanwhile, the AAP has accused the BJP of sending its “goondas” inside the secretariat. “Delhi secretariat has become an adda of BJP’s goondaism. The Delhi police, which reports to Prime Minister Modiji, is responsible for security of the secretariat. BJP workers entered the premises displaying a state of complete anarchy, were sloganeering and even reached till the roof,” Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said. Singh even accused that BJP MLA Sirsa, along with his supporters, tried to apprehend Delhi Minister Imran Hussain inside the secretariat.
