It’s been two weeks since the election results but things haven’t settled for the BJP, which is leading the NDA alliance government at the Union level. The family, it seems, is not happy. The Sangh Parivar, of which the BJP is a part, is led by the RSS and while the BJP has managed to cobble together a win, the patriarchs believe the means don’t justify the ends. No – not electoral bonds, or the amount of money used in elections, or the communal rhetoric during the campaign. There’s an HR problem in the Parivar.

Meanwhile, Shashi Tharoor has a problem too. He just about managed to win the Thiruvananthapuram parliamentary seat this time around with BJP’s Rajeev Chandrashekhar giving him a run for his money. Many believe the reason Rajeev could perform so well is because of a former Tharoor ally moving to Rajeev’s camp.

And why did Priyanka Gandhi finally decide to contest elections?

Also, we have Edappadi Palanisamy in Tamil Nadu who seems to have come to the conclusion that not playing is better than losing – again. Sure, he could take some rest, but Sasikala refuses to sit by while the sun shines.
