On June 28, the national capital again witnessed a flood-like situation, particularly south and central parts of Delhi. The roads were submerged, leading to severe traffic snarls throughout the day. The flights from the Delhi International Airport were also postponed. 

Delhi’s flood-like situation was because of heavy rains. But questions were also raised on the city’s drainage system. So how does the Delhi drainage system work? Is it efficient to handle heavy rain?
