The former kingmaker is likely to face a tough challenge in the assembly polls.
Dushyant Chautala, JJP leader and former deputy chief minister who emerged as a kingmaker in the last polls, has been facing resentment in his own assembly constituency, Uchana Kalan. Besides holding meetings in his constituency ahead of the state polls, Dushyant’s JJP has struck an alliance with the Azad Samaj Party and he has been campaigning with Chandrashekhar Azad in villages across the state.
In this interview with Newslaundry, Dushyant spoke about his politics, state polls, the JJP’s new alliance and challenges.
On JJP’s alliance with Azad Samaj Party, the 36-year-old said, “We are two youths. Both of us have decided that one and one makes 11 and not two in politics. We will move forward with that strength of farmers’ comradeship.”
