Authors Angellica Aribam and Akash Satyawali have written about their stories in their new book The Fifteen: The lives and times of the women in India’s Constituent Assembly.
In a conversation with Newslaundry, Aribam and Satyawali talk about why women’s stories are not a part of popular narrative, sexism, and challenges faced by women in the constituent assembly. They also discuss anecdotes of women leaders such as Sarojini Naidu, Malati Choudhary, and Dakshayani Velayudhan.
