Dainik Bhaskar or ‘Raman Bhaskar’?
On the occasion of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh’s birthday on October 15, Dainik Bhaskar scrapped its own name from the newspaper’s masthead and replaced it with “Raman Bhaskar” on its fifth page.
This was done across all editions in Chhattisgarh on Monday, according to an article written by Deepankar Patel in The Narco Test. The masthead was changed to “Raman Bhaskar” and the “jacket,” too, was dedicated to wishing the BJP leader many happy returns on the day.
This comes at a time when legislative assembly polls are slated to be held in Chhattisgarh in two phases, on November 12 and November 20 respectively.
