In Ghazipur's Zahoorabad, voters from the Rajbhar community are convinced that a victory of their incumbent MLA and SBSP chief, Om Prakash Rajbhar, will ensure a caste census and a better future for them.
Yadavs and Rajbhars – politically opposed previously over economic disparities – have joined hands this time to back the SP-SBSP alliance. But with the number of Dalit votes higher than the Rajbhars, the BSP too is not leaving any stone unturned in the constituency.
