Morning Show: How long will Gujarat BJP rely on Modi’s face? Here’s what university students think
On the Morning Show, Atul and Manisha catch up with students of Gujarat University. Young people in their 20s have grown up seeing only one party in rule – the BJP. How do they assess the party’s work? Do they yearn for a change? And what do they think of vikaas in Gujarat?
On law and order, students born in 2002 believe that they have seen a peaceful state compared to their parents’ experience, while others feel strict action is needed against illicit liquor and drug trade in the state. The quality of education and lack of adequate skilling at the postgraduate level remain a key concern. Students also say that it’s not enough for the governing party to tom-tom PM Modi’s face and there is a lack of a strong CM candidate in Gujarat.
