It was an eventful week in the world of TV news, and Manisha is back to hosting duties after covering the elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. 

In a bizarre incident, Govinda misfired and shot himself in the leg. As reports came in, our usual suspects dived into theories behind the mishap and if it could really have been an accident. Meanwhile, fake currency featuring Anupam Kher’s image was discovered in Ahmedabad, and Zee News clarified that it wasn’t for his impressive acting skills.

Amid all this, the war in the Middle East escalated, with Israel invading Lebanon following the death of Hezbollah official Hassan Nasrallah. The conflict intensified with Iran’s subsequent offensive against Israel.
